Job Description – SAP Business One Integration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled SAP Business One Integration Specialist with strong techno-functional expertise to design, develop, and manage integrations between SAP Business One and external business platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP Business One DI API, Service Layer, and modern API-based integrations.

This role requires a professional who understands SAP Business One data structures, business processes, and external system integrations, enabling seamless data exchange between SAP B1 and platforms such as eCommerce systems, CRM platforms, WMS, payment gateways, and HRMS solutions.

The candidate should also possess an Agile mindset, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable integration solutions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

SAP Business One Integration Development

Design and develop integration solutions between SAP Business One and third-party platforms.
Implement integrations using SAP Business One DI API and Service Layer.
Develop custom SAP Business One Add-Ons and integration services to support enterprise workflows.
Ensure integration solutions follow SAP Business One best practices and architecture guidelines.

API-Based Integration

Develop and manage API-driven integrations between SAP Business One and external applications.
Work with REST APIs and GraphQL APIs for secure and scalable data exchange.
Implement Service Layer based integrations for real-time communication with SAP Business One.
Handle authentication, error handling, logging, and data validation within integration processes.

SAP Techno-Functional Expertise

Apply strong SAP Business One techno-functional knowledge to understand both technical and business process requirements.
Ensure accurate mapping of SAP B1 master data, transactional data, and document flows during integrations.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical integration solutions.

Cross-Platform Integration

Develop integrations between SAP Business One and various enterprise platforms including:

eCommerce platforms
CRM systems
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Payment gateways
Shipping gateways

Functional understanding of the above platforms will be considered a strong advantage.

Business Process Integration

Support integration of different key business processes
Ensure data consistency, real-time synchronization, and reliable data flow across integrated systems.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Monitor integration performance and identify system failures or data inconsistencies.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and resolve integration issues efficiently.
Maintain logs, integration documentation, and technical specifications.

Agile Collaboration

Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and iterative delivery cycles.
Collaborate with developers, SAP Business One consultants, and business stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement of integration architecture and development standards.

Key Competencies

Strong SAP Business One techno-functional knowledge
Hands-on experience with SAP Business One DI API
Hands-on experience with SAP Business One Service Layer
Strong understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL APIs
Experience in SAP Business One Add-On development
Understanding of enterprise integration processes across eCommerce, CRM, WMS, Payment Gateways, and others
Functional knowledge of Magento 2, Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, etc. is a plus
Agile mindset with strong collaboration skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
