SAP Business One Support Team Lead
SAP Business One Support Team Lead is responsible for leading functional support and enhancement initiatives for SAP Business One (SAP B1). This role combines hands-on functional expertise with team leadership, ensuring effective support delivery, continuous improvement, and successful execution of support-driven and international projects. The candidate will act as a bridge between global business stakeholders and technical teams while managing a team of functional consultants.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Governance
·       Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SAP B1 functional consultants supporting multiple business units across regions
·       Define support processes, ensure SLA compliance, and drive service excellence
·       Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions
Functional Support & Issue Management
·       Oversee end-to-end functional support across SAP B1 modules (Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Production)
·       Act as escalation point for complex functional issues and critical incidents
·       Ensure root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive measures are implemented
Project & Enhancement Delivery
·       Lead and manage support-driven projects, enhancements, and change requests
·       Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
·       Coordinate with technical teams for customization, integration, and reporting solutions
·       Ensure timely and quality delivery of enhancements within scope and budget
International Project Management
·       Manage and deliver SAP B1 projects across multiple countries and regions
·       Coordinate with global stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams
·       Handle multi-currency, multi-taxation, and localization requirements
·       Ensure alignment with regional compliance, statutory regulations, and business practices
·       Facilitate communication across different time zones and cultural contexts
Stakeholder Engagement
·       Partner with business users to understand operational challenges and provide optimized ERP solutions
·       Facilitate workshops, user training, and process improvement initiatives
·       Maintain strong communication with key stakeholders and senior management globally
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
·       Identify opportunities to improve business processes using SAP B1 capabilities
·       Drive standardization and best practices across modules and geographies
·       Promote automation and efficiency improvements
Documentation & Compliance
·       Maintain functional documentation including business process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals
·       Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and global data governance standards
Required Qualifications
·       Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
·       6+ years of experience as an SAP Business One Functional Consultant leading teams or managing functional support projects
·       Proven experience in handling international or multi-country SAP B1 projects
·       Strong expertise in SAP B1 core modules (Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Production)
·       Experience in business process mapping and ERP solution design
