An SEO Specialist is responsible for optimizing a company’s website and digital content to increase visibility, organic traffic, and search engine rankings. They work on both on-page and off-page optimization strategies, analyze performance using SEO tools, and collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure the website aligns with best practices and business goals.

Job Responsibilities
1. Keyword Research & Strategy

Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities.

Develop keyword strategies aligned with target audience and business goals.

Monitor keyword rankings and adjust strategies as needed.
2. On-Page Optimization

Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, and URLs.

Improve internal linking structure for better crawlability.

Ensure proper use of schema markup and structured data.

Enhance page load speed and mobile responsiveness for SEO performance.
3. Content Strategy & Optimization

Work with content teams to create SEO-friendly blog posts, landing pages, and web copy.

Optimize existing content to boost rankings.

Develop topic clusters and pillar pages to improve topical authority.
4. Technical SEO

Perform regular website audits (crawl errors, indexing issues, broken links).

Optimize XML sitemaps and robots.txt.

Ensure website architecture supports SEO goals.

Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
5. Off-Page SEO & Link Building

Develop white-hat link-building strategies.

Identify partnership and backlink opportunities.

Monitor backlink profile to remove toxic links.
6. Analytics & Reporting

Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.

Track KPIs such as organic traffic, bounce rate, conversion rate, and keyword positions.

Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
7. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Work closely with marketing, design, and development teams.

Stay informed on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and competitor strategies.

Continuously test and refine SEO strategies to maximize results.
Key Skills Required

Proficiency in SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.).
